The LP annual meeting

Content, data and follow-up for the year's most important LP conversation.

By SRM, Executive Director · Updated October 2026

What do LPs expect from an annual meeting?

A clear account of fund performance and portfolio health, candid discussion of challenges, the GP's outlook and plans — including any next fundraise — and access to the investment team.

Data

Audited figures, performance by deal and fund, valuation bridges and pacing. Pull it from the ledger so it matches the reports LPs already have.

Format

Short presentations, deep portfolio sessions, time for questions. Share materials through the portal before and after.

Follow-up

Log questions and commitments in the CRM and close them out.

Questions

Can materials be restricted by fund?

Yes, with document permissions in the portal.
